John Boyd

John Boyd founded the first horsehair weaving mill in 1837 in Somerset, England. The factory still operates today with the same technology and the same machines. Horsehair fabrics are very durable and easy to handle.

The fireproof and luxurious horsehair fabric is suitable for use in the commercial spaces, in churches and concert halls, but also in entertainment areas and at home. It is possible to get the fabric with specific logos or other embroidery. As warp cotton, linen and silk are used and horsehair for the fabric’s weft. The width of the fabric is 55-65 cm depending on the type.
